    Took a trip to to La Jolla in spring to photograph the California Brown Pelicans there. Waited the whole morning for the "yawning shot". Exposure could be better. Thanks for viewing and commenting :)

    Perfect pose and sharpness. A great BG too. The exposure looks good to me but the reds are pretty oversaturated.

    Looking forward to more!

    I like the vertical comp and the pose. The light is a bit harsh so hopefully the next time you go to La Jolla this guy will yawn earlier in the day for you!! The BG is lovely. I find the eye and very top of head a bit soft, critical focus seems to be on the throat. I would do some selective sharpening on the eye.
