    The remnants of a lion kill in Kgalagadi provided a feast fot up to 10 Jackalls. Several fights broke out-this was part of one.

    Hi Ben, you did well in some testing light conditions. Action nicely captured with the dust adding to the movement. If not allready cropped I would also try a tighter crop as an alternative.

    Love the action captured here. as stated may be a better crop could work better. But most of all i love the way light has been handled by you in this one.

    Love the action here Ben...seems like it was shot in harsh light as it looks to have suffered from heat shimmer?

    The light was not that harsh. The crop about 20-25% I did find that with the 40D and 100-400 the bouquet some times is quite harsh if I adjust sharpness or exposure. The 7D files handles that much better.

    Ben - nice action captured. I like how the tail is suspended in mid-air. I agree about trying some alternate crops if possible.
