    Hi Anita;

    I love the overall image...wonderful detail captured in the veins of the leaf, great lighting....if it were mine, I'd either tone down the yellows in the ULC a bit...or possibly crop it to a square image. I love the texture (you have a real knack for those)...and I like the swirls of water around the edges of the leaf; nicely done!

    Anita, Very cool look to this. I like the texture overlay you added. I agree with John regarding the square crop with just a hint more on the left. Nicely seen and processed.

    This is lovely, Anita. I think your use of texture makes this simple image a strong composition. Nice contrasting colors. Square crop is an option... but I do like the current composition.

    I agree, Anita very cool image and good eye to spot this design in nature. Think John makes a good point about crop and the yellows, and I might try toning them down everywhere except the leaf. Maybe a bit of NR on BG too, but still very strong compostion and a bit more tweaking should take it over the top!

    Good image for your first leaf on water Anita! I think some good suggestions were made above and I would add that I get a very nice perception of the surface of the water, which is hard to convey. Nice job on this one.

    Anita.....good suggestions above...One more vote for a square crop....I will have to look more closely at leaves in the water in the future. TFS
