The beginning of August we took a trip in one of the local creeks looking for opportunities to see some osprey platforms. This particular route usually has between 25 and 30 nests to observe. It was a bit late and most of this year's youngsters had already fledged. A few were still in the nests and accommodated a close approach by boat. This one began flapping but stayed on the nest, a perfect opportunity for a series of images.
Hi Linda. I like how it pops against the darker BG, but agree with Randy it's quite soft as presented. Not sure if it's a focus issue or merely unsharpened after resizing?
