Wow! I wish that were me sitting in one of those chairs! Nice job with the filter and the comp. There looks like a lighter toned rectangle in the background on the right side in the sky that I might try t clean up, if anyone else sees it.
It looks like a Corona commercial. If they were in bathtubs, I'd would have said Viagra! Man, I'd love to be there...........Good work with the filtering. I do see the rectangle of reduced color in the right sky, that Denise mentioned. A quick blend, would help. There is a bit of "hot" green in the waves that you may want to tone down, if that wasn't your intention. You portrayed an image of relaxation and "getting away from it all". Good job!
Mitch, Jay and Denise make very good suggestions, re the rhs sky and the bit of hot green (reflection from the grass? artifacts from the plug-in?) on the water...but this is SUCH a good image and wonderful processing. You might have missed one element...me running down the sand dune, chair in one hand, a decent bottle of wine in the other to join them! Great job!
You are correct, the sky is uneven. I was rushing to an end of Summer pic up, and I did not pay enough attention and did not notice it. I find Topaz Simplify often treats even tones like this. It is as if it apples effects in blocks, and for some reason excludes some blocks.
By the way, this "sand cliff" was only recently carved out by Hurricane Irene.
Hi Mitch, love the filtering and the colors too. Last days of summer for sure...I started shooting some early fall color in Parry Sound, Ontario over the weekend...yikes!
Here is a bit of a rework with regard to your suggestions.
Just to correct my previous statement... While Irene did increase the erosion on this dune face, She was not responsible for all of it. It has been eroding for a number of years, with winter storms being the major cause.
