    Mitch:

    Neat ripples, colors,sharp.

I would be tempted to crop up from the bottom a bit, since the reflection is weak. Head is turned a bit away. To me, the ripples suggest it needs a bit of CW rotation.

I might consider toning down the water brightness a bit.

    Look forward to more.

    Cheers

I like the colors and detail Mitch. If were mine I would probably brighten up the head just a bit, crop the bottom from the lowest blue reflection and add even less to the top. I dont mind the head turn and am not sure about rotation although I dosee Randy's point. I wonder though if it will throw off the line on the top of the frame which would bother me more than the ripples being off a little. Just a personal preference I guess.

Nice little Sanderling. With the weak reflection I do wish the subject was lower in the frame. I also agree with CW rotation...notice the concentric circles are tilted, that is a good first indication. Also, if you draw a line (using the ruler tool) from longest tail tip to reflected longest tail tip, then hit File>Rotate canvas>Arbitrary, you'll see the image needs about 1.13 degrees CW rotation.

Had the head been angled towards us more the face would have been better lit with the light coming from the left.

Always fun to follow and photograph shorebirds...hope you get more chances!
