    I went out yesterday morning and found this family of 5. Opted for more of the environmental type shots as I was unable to get lower and get a better background because of the area I was at. Glad to see the two young chicks were healthy and running around. Now, I just hope they make it.

    I like the environment shot too especially how those reeds reflect and give great design. I really like the raised foot and the ripples it caused but wish for more reflection so the legs don't look cut off even though I know its the reflection. ( mostly the front one)

    Nice light and pose on this fellow - a species I would love to get. Good detail, HA, and I like the raised rear foot. I like the reedy habitat, but it seems a little bright and thus distracts from the subject. Maybe take it down a tad in brightness and or saturation??
