    This one was shot at sunset and not a great quality image but I love this enhancement of the dying lotus leaf with the interesting colors and textures. I hope you like it too! I used Topaz and then Ps Dry Brush on it.

    Hi Judy;

    This one almost reminds me of an aerial view of a volcano; there's a festival of color and lines in the image, with the lines of the pad drawing your eye to the center...I might tone down the red part in the lower left a bit...and it might be interesting to see just a bit more of the original showing through, to give some additional texture and depth. Burning the corners just a bit might also help in keeping your eye drawn to the composition...but that's my opinion, and it's your vision! Nicely seen!

    Thanks John! I like it as is as to the effect, but I did take your suggestion and toned down the red spot and added a little vignette and darkened a couple of other areas slightly.

    Judy, the repost looks really nice. I thought of a volcano as soon as I saw this. I like the filtering effects.

    Thanks Cheryl! Many of them I've photographed look like volcanoes as the stem protrudes in the center pushing it up.
