Default Motif- Least Tern with its very young chick

I got to know of a nice colony of least terns this past spring and was fortunate to get several weekends with them. This one was taken with the Nikon D300s and Nikon 500 f/4 with a 1.4 TC, 1/640, iso 1000, f/7.1.

I think this is a great shot. Exposure looks pefect to me and the angle is just great. I would love to have this one in my portfolio.

Sweet shot, Nancy -- exquisite, in fact. No nits on this one. There is a very slight reddish cast, but the soft peachy light adds to the Florida ambiance and I wouldn't change a thing.

Nancy, Killer shot, sweet poses and the waves of sand are lovely. I might take a sliver off the bottom to just through or under your sig. if it were mine. Nice work!

A delightful image. Great Comp, BG and the chicken made the images into something extra.

The ultra low angle really makes this image. Very sweet moment!
