Here's a young skimmer learning the craft of skimming. Almost full frame, cropped out right side, and a sliver on top. Not much room for comp variety without adding canvas. mk IV, 500f4, iso 640, f8, 1/2000 shot manual from tripod/wimberley.

Terrific one, Herb. Great wing position and detail. Exposure and contrast spot on. I love the flight angle coming toward you. Might have wished for just a slivver more on the left, but not a big issue.
