Sunset on the Chobe River, Botswana

This was the last image I took in Botswana, a fine ending to two magical weeks in Africa.

I am off to the Arctic in the am. See you all when I return.

Charles, the image is well handled with good sun placement in relationship to the men on the boats. I like the fact I can see the outline of the men even though they are merging with the backround.
When posting I wouldn't put a frame with writing since it can be distracting...

    Dave,

Appreciate your opinion. What may appear distracting to some, might also prove educational to others.
I received a number of e mails asking how I did the border and text effect.

    Warm Regards,

    Chas

I agree with Dave on the placement of the sun and men - just right. And with a bit of luck you got them with the sticks framing the sun.

Given the request for the "how you did the border and text effect" I think you should answer for all of us.

BTW, you NEVER fail to provide an image worth viewing more than once. TFS!!

    Hey Chas,
Love the picture.....never been a fan of the frames although if you explain it when you get back......will give you a pass on it! I generally dislike things that take away from strong images.....as I want to see the image bigger!!! Very nicely done with this!
