Oystercatcher juvi from Nickersons. The sand ridge between the bird and I kept me from getting his feet in focus. mk IV, 800 f5.6 plus 1.4x III, iso 500, f10, 1/500 shot in manual mode from tripod/wimberley.

Exposure is perfect with nice placement of the subject in the frame. The darker spot upper left appears as an unnatural element. Enough of the toes can be seen to add interest while emphasizing the appeal of the undulating terrain.

Nice light on this juvi, with beautiful graduated background. Feet might have been nice, but not a killer. Darker spot noted by Bob might be toned down.

Thanks for the comments guys. Here's a repost with the dark BGD toned down a bit.

Repost does it for me. I actually like the soft cloudy area at the feet and nice low angle. After looking at it for a while I'm wondering about a slight rotation as the bird looks like he's about to tip over to me. Nice soft background and i like the distant look in his eye.
