Nancy, do you know what this reminds me of? Remember when you were a child...and your Mom and Dad would buy you sparklers on the 4th of July and let you "draw" in the night air with them? That's the first thing I thought of when I saw this image! Beautiful! I love the deep orange/red as a focal point...the purple makes them all the more striking..and then those wonderful white "sparkles" above...GREAT abstract...wonderful use of Fractalius. You're already hooked, aren't you?
Nancy, This is a wonderful abstract and the title really fits the image. Nice work with the Fractalius filter. I think the splashes of orange and the glow make this special.
Wicked patterns and Fracting. Was this originally an image of starfish? Yes or no would love to see what you started with.

Here is the RAW original. Orange & purple starfish and the small green thing is a green sea urchin. I cropped part of this for my image. Photographed on the central coast of Oregon last week.
Thanks Nancy. Hard to believe that you got from A to B!

Thank you everyone! I was so excited to find the starfish on the rocks but was some what disappointed to find them more a muscular mass than the dainty creatures of my imagination. In comes the magic of Fractalius to convey my vision!
