Can anyone identify the bird, there is an easy clue here.
Steps to do this, were crop, over contrast, vibrance, PB oil paint, back to different adjustments including playing a lot with sliders, various levels of smart sharpen and I do not think I can duplicate it exactly.
A suggestion on title would be appreciated and probably fun.

Well, it's a gannet so how about "Gannet contortionist", or "Gannet imitating a swan"? Some interesting effects Steve but I'm not sure about the displaced head and neck. I like the colors and texture to the effect.

Interesting piece Steve. I like the colors and the texture of the wings. I think the wings can stand on their own w/o the head and neck as Kerry noted. I wonder how this would look if you selected just the wings and put them on a black or white background so they really stand out. I might take a sliver off the left and add it to the right if it were mine. Of course these are just suggestions and they may not fit your vision for the image.

Very interesting effect and colors. I like the concept of the "contortionist" but do agree it can do without the displaced head. I can imagine this a Native Indian Headdress... Excellent OOTB thinking!

Steve, an interesting use of filters and color...I like Denise's suggestion of selecting just the wing and putting it on either a solid-colored black or white background (I vote black )...it might heighten the sense of drama and give the wing even greater visual impact. As mentioned by others, I think it stands on its own without the displaced head (it did help with the ID though!)...it all depends on your personal vision. Looking forward to seeing more.
