Dave, you're the master of PB...I love the effects you're able to coax out of that plug-in! This image is very strong..beautiful colors, strong textures, the catch-light in the eye, the tongue flicking into the water, the vignette framing the image...and that wonderful subtle processing that is becoming your signature look. Well done!

    Hey Dave,
I can't add much more to John's comments above. He covered all bases & I share his view. Very nicely done!

Wow. I want to say something original but John took all the words I would have used. Very well done!

I think John covered it very well. Just want to add that I love the colors and the processing is perfect!

Really nice, Dave. The eastern indigo snakes I've seen in FL are pretty evenly colored with just a touch of red on the throat. I'm curious whether the red/orange area in this image was enhanced with your processing or whether the indigo in Texas (or this particular snake) is more vividly colored. These snakes are huge, but really quite wonderful as snakes go - one might even say they're friendly

Hi Maureen, Yes, I did accentuate the color to add more interest. This snake was enormous and I know their not poisonous. I was sitting at a waterhole with my lense groundlevel so when he showed up I was in a good position to shoot him...
