One more rose... for this one i used three layers - pb/oil, Simplify and fract. Used masks to open up different parts of image and also changed opacity. Hope you like it...

Indranil, this is really nice....you handled the whites wonderfully...the center petals have an almost translucent quality to them...a very subtle processing that compliments the delicate beauty of the rose. I find myself wishing for a bit more room on the LHS...and I'd be tempted to burn the brown area just to the left of the leaf in the ULC; the leaf adds a subtle depth...the brown draws my eye to it. I'd be tempted to done down the specular highlights in the LRC as well...just a bit. Great image..I love the handling of the rose!

It's lovely Indranil. The whites have a lovely translucent look to them as John has pointed out. A bit more room on the left would be nice. Wonderful work with the combination of filters!

Yes, a wonderful blend of filters to give a translucent quality. The yellow adds deputy. Upper right petal might look better with a removal of that tiny dark line since none of the other petals have such. Enjoyed looking at this

    Hey Indranil,
I love the effect on the flower and agree with a bit more room on the left....not much.....even for me! Just a bit of canvas left will put this over the top for me!

Very nice image and application, Indranil.

Awesome but agree with the larger canvas.

    Hi Indranil,
Really like your filtering application and how you handled the whites in the rose. Some of the petals remind me of vellum paper. Without the inclusion of the stem it gives me the illusion that it is floating in mid air. More room on left noted above. Nice subject.
