I shot this at the Bronx Zoo through glass. I converted the branches to B&W to put all the emphasis on the lizard.

Whoa...Dave...GREAT B&W/Color mix...and the PB effect on the lizard is spectacular (not half bad on the branch, either ). The V-shaped line formed by the joining of the branch and the lizard make for a strong composition...and your eye just wants to weave in and out of the textures created, particularly in the color and contrast of the lizard's skin. Nice catchlight in the eye...good DOF...this is a winner.

    Hey Dave,
I REALLY like this one a whole bunch. The color & b/w combo was a good artistic choice. The details, comp & processing on this one is very well done & executed. I like the diagonal position of the lizard, the intertwined tree trunks and the v shape they both create. Ditto on John's comment as far as a winner here.

Dave....I am loving the textures weaving in and out . The B&W tree limbs draw the eye nicely to your subject. I especially like the eye and claws of Mr. Lizard.

what can I say? Agree with all the above. combining the color/bw is an excellent choice for this.

This one works great Dave because of the contrast of colors and B&W. Excellent choices all around with the filters and the comp is VG too! A winner for sure!
