    Default American Kestrel with sparrow

Hello everybody! I took this picture a few months ago on the coast of Beagle Channel, the bird was very quiet, I take a lot of photos, this one is one of the best, hope you like it, like always, comments, suggestions and critiques are mora than welcome.

    Leandro:

Graphic depiction of nature. Did you see the capture? Was it on the wing?

Your kestrel is sharp, well exposed, good head turn.

Good shooting angle, so often we are looking up.

Not my favorite perch, but it did give a clear view of the proceedings. Mentally I kept trying to level the horizontal rail of the perch, but the upright is vertical, so obviously this rail was angling up, you can see how it meets the post.

    Well done.

    Cheers

It's not often that I've been able to get close to a Kestrel, so congratulations on your close encounter. Excellent pose and behavior. As Randy said, the perch could be better. I do feel that the bird is slightly oversharpened, and I would boost the overall brightness a bit.

I love these guys and you got a nice close look. The only thing that bothers me about this image is the crooked line of the perch. Nice detail and nice clean bg

Hi! thanks for the comments and suggestions, the perch is not the best, but is in line, if you see the perch where is the bird is ok, but the other part i'snt in line.

Actually I do see that now. I guess you couldnt straighten it without making the rest of the image off. You did right.
