    Default Peony Abstract

This is a phone capture of a Peony. I used Fractalius and multiple blend modes. I liked the way it looked kind of like a rose. I will say trying to compose something with the camera proved to be a bit of a challenge. The delay takes some time getting use to. Hope it's abstract enough for the theme.

Great abstract. I like the balanced comp, fall like colors and frac work, denise! This seems to have an erupting, upward energy quality for me. Very neat!

Good morning, Denise. I would have never guessed that this was a Peony...or that it was taken with a phone camera. The color palette is great...those deep pinks, the almost orange earth tones near the edge...and I really like what you were able to coax from the image in Fractalius and in from your use of blending modes. There's such a subtle, yet dramatic, network of fine lines creating texture in the image...nicely done!

Really nice, Denise. It reminds me of abstract fall leaves

I especially like the many filmy-looking layers. Lovely colors and composition. The pointy ends of the petals make it not look like a Peony, but some artistic creation. Nice work, as always.
