Back to work last night, vacation over and just getting over jet lag. On this vacation I practiced zooms, any chance I got. This was a flower bed in the town of Karlsruhe...I used Fotosketcher Oil painting effect on this, out of camera, image. Good to be back.

Nice abstract, Paul. I like the explosion of colors. Great idea to try Fotosketcher on this zoom-blur.

ps. adding weekly theme to the image...

I agree on on the explosion of color. lot's of energy and drama to the image. I might have eased off on the texture a bit, but that's a personal preference. It might also have been interesting to frame this with the center in an ROT position. No matter this still works well for me!

Paul, Great to have you back! I think Jay makes some good suggestions. As presented I might take a sliver off the top. Beautiful explosion of colors and the texture adds a little something to it. I'll have to give it a try on one of mine.

Paul, welcome back and I hope you had a wonderful trip I love the explosion of colors and the texture is a great idea. Maybe just a little less texture would be nice also.
