I had fun making some fall foliage blurs last year. My lens was shocked to see f/22, but it was necessary to get the slow shutter speed of 1/20 sec. I often wonder what non-photographers, possibly watching us capture pan blurs, must think of our antics. Topaz Detail and Adjust were used to add some contrast and edges.

Beautiful colours and like the strong diagonal lines. Not sure what trees they are, but the colours are lovely.

Real nice clean & simple graphic look to this blur, Kerry. Like the strong lines and warm colors, almost looks like colored pencil. I know what you mean regarding what others must think when you are doing blurs. I was doing some blurs of city lights one night along the harbor, and a person walked up and asked: "Are you OK?"

Very nice image and application, Kerry.

Could use a spell check, or is that a blur of the "eeeeees & rrrrrrs"

Other than that, I like this. Nice colors and tones.

Hi Kerry, I like the new avatar too! The tree blur is fantastic. Love the tones and the diagonal movement. I have often thought the same thing regarding what people must think, but Brendan really cracked me up with what happened to him. That`s hillarious!

Thanks everyone! I was wanting to change my avatar and I remembered these shots I took of myself with this little scrub jay. At one point he was in my truck, sitting on the dash! I got my Droid X phone out and took a few self-portraits while chatting with my little friend. BTW, I was not feeding him or anything, he just flew over to check me out.
