What a bird !! Quite common , but difficult to get a good closeup of this one . While I was lucky to get him quite close , had to contend with low light for this one . Cloned a twig running thru his body and one thru the tail .
I was hoping to get him again when there was good light , but that did not happen .

For me the low light enhances the subtle variations and blendings of these amazing colors. Bright light can seem to just bounce off these colors, making them harsh. I agree with Randy about the cloning work. Easy enough to touch up. While you are at it you might want to also clone out that OOF branch nearly parallel to the main perch. It is somewhat distracting. This is an fantastic bird!
Just love the bg and the suble colors in this soft light.
Gorgeous bird indeed.
IQ is great with a 2x at that high iso.
A slight head turn would've kicked this up another notch or two.
Is there some PP artifact in the LRC?
