    This fellow was banking low mid-morning at Anhinga Trail last Sunday. He was painted with a Nikon D70s using a Nikkor 300mm f/4D and T/C 1.4 /focal length 420mm / exposure mode @ manual / matrix metering / 1/1250sec - f/6.3 / exposure comp @ +1.3EV / ISO set @ 400
    WB set @ auto / AF Mode set to AF-C / no flash / color mode sRGB / Hue adjustment @ 0

    Comments greatly appreciated...:D

    Hi Gus Good flight image Waited for the bird to bank and get the wings illuminated Good head position and sharp

    As presented I like the bird position in frame Would like to see the bird filling more of the frame in camera !!! I think the original could have used a little more exposure? Did you capture any of the back vultures?

    Thank you Al. Yes I have several of these black chickens; I will post them later tonight. Also have the reflection shot of the gator and the white bird...:D

    Really like the light on the wings Gus and great position too! Agree maybe a bit more EC?

    Default Flying Low - a bit tighter

    I tried cropping the image a bit more and tried to lighten the underside of the bird without losing the depth of blue. It is a very dramatic image, with great exposure. My problem is trying to adjust the exposure and get the shot at the same time.
