Nice picture, green background is a nice compliment to the image. I like the regal pose it shows the beauty of this baby. Like it as presented. Soft light is special. Perch looks a bit worked at the bottom. Joel you are making great strides with your lighting techniques and exposures - images get stronger every week. Keep it up and thanks for sharing.

Joel, really nicely presented dove. Exposure, colors, and detail are top-notch. Love the pose against that nice green bg and strong composition. I do notice a selection line all around the bird, which gives it a bit of the "cut-out" look. There are a couple of ambiguous spots along the right side of the perch, just below the feet and at the bottom of frame.

I agree with Kerry regarding the selection line - probably a bit of feathering required. Also, small point, but there's a lighter section of the BG right behind the dove's head that I find slightly distracting. So perhaps cloning that to the green of the rest of the BG will help. Overall, though, very nice pose, head angle & detail

Typical Dove pose John and well captured but a few things if I may, I find the shot over saturated to the point where the colours look "muddy"

I'd also back off a bit on the sharpening just a tad.
