This image was created just south of the Lagoon, on Hickory Island in Bonita Springs. I've noticed that approaching birds from the water allows me to get closer than I ever could. When I was developing the Drypod system I would test them along the coast on the nesting birds. I start by entering the water away from the birds and make a very large circle into the gulf or backbay and approach them straight on very slowly. Coming in from the water also makes me lower to the birds and less of a threat. I was also told that the birds predators don't come in from the water, only the land. After getting very positive feedback on our lasted model of the Drypod we are now in full production of the Weekender model of the Drypod. When I say we I mean my wife and I here in our garage. Thanks Rod

Sweet moment, Rod, the male looks wonderful. Wish we could see the female's eye and I find the slope a bit distracting.

Great the Drypods are in full force, they are a great product.

Sweet moment indeed. Would clean up the background a little - dark patch crossing the left wing of the bird and the patch to the right of it intersecting the water
