Found this coyote hunting the fields one early morning. I liked the pose and the color of the grasses. 7D, 1-400L, f6.3, 1/2000s, ISO 400, HH from vehicle, cropped a bit on top, left, and bottom.

Nicely composed Steve. The yellow flowers are a nice addition.

I like his placement in the frame, and it's nice a sharp. See if you can get him again in Dec with a winter coat.

Love the setting here Steve. Pano crop also works well.
I wonder how an additional round of slight sharpening on the canid's head would work?

Hi Steve, good placement of the coyote, and love the light in the eye. Just enough space all round to see the enviroment. Well captured.

Steve, well done, I always enjoy watching these guys and sadly don't find them often enough. Was he successful in the hunt? Good pose and light.

Thanks again for the comments folks.

    Morkel,
Agree with you on the additional sharpening. I remember backing off on that before I posted.

    Tom,
I didn't get to witness any captures before he left.
