    This is just too perfect--male/female, both with food, perched side-by-side, looking at each other. What a couple! Beautiful capture and processing. I'm wondering about darkening the lower left corner so it doesn't draw attention away from the marvelous birds.

    Dave, great capture...nice, subtle effects from the filtering...wonderful composition. I echo Anita's comment...if it were mine, I'd darken the LLC so that the eye doesn't wander down there too much. Nice job!

    Ok Dave, time to confess that you cloned in the big eyes... So seriously cute, I love it. Besides being a special glimpse into the daily life of the bluebirds, it is a nicely done image as well. There is a dark patch at the left of the female's tail that I would paint out. Very nice!
