Very nice pose and exposure, Herb. The dangling feet, the fanned tail and the snack all add a lot. Lovely image.

Terrific capture, Herb. Nice detail; exposure spot on. Love the way the fanned tail is angled toward you. From Brigantine?

Sharp. EXP, COMP, and wing position all perfect. A fine head angle with a fine fish. Love the somewhat dangling feet and the spread tail.

Excellent capture indeed! Here is a repost with some more room on the right and bottom. Also brightened the whole image and added a catchlight. WDYT?

Thanks for all of the comments, thanks for the repost Ofer. I'm not sure how to add catchlight. I looked online, and I found the pencil tool in white, but what opacity and brush hardness for this use ?

Artie, I found a skimmer colony near Somers Point, south of AC

Thanks Herb. Great find! The skimmers at Nickerson had a great breeding season this year.

Very nice capture indeed Herb. At first I thought the water was sky!

Great Skimmer. Excellent detail and the fish and tail but it over the top. I also had to take a second look at the background to see if sky or water. Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
