    I've never had much luck capturing swallows in flight -- they're just too small and fast for me. But I thought I'd share this attempt at getting a juvi coming in for a landing on a signpost at Sandy Hook, where a flock of fledglings was gathering. Could have used another stop down.

    yes they are very fast..u did manage to freeze..nice attempt

    Pretty darned good. Like the SH and EXP. Bummer that the head is turned away a smidge as it resulted in the face being lit less than ideally....

    Bill, this is really nice.
    Getting swallows in flight is ridiculously hard.
    This is the best one I have seen.

    Excellent Brain! i was posed with similar conditions the other day and did not get the shot I wanted. congrats on your capture.
