    Dear All

    Back from one amazing trip of Masai Mara , 42 Lions in 6 days , 12 Cheetah , 2 Leopards too
    But it will not be a bad idea to start with this big boy

    Great shot Harshad, I love the golden light and the detail in his rough edged beak.

    Really nice to see this one Harshad; I used to live in Nairobi in the early 80s and spent many happy times in the Mara.
    Used to see several of these marching across the grassland. These are threatened now I think due to habitat loss?
    Your image is pretty much perfect color, detail and sharpens all on the money.
    Do you have any full bird shots?

    Agree with all of the pluses noted above, especially the rough-edged insides of the mandibles. You did well with the light from our right. I could stand just a bit more head turn towards us.

    The image in Pane 10 is far superior to the OP: much better head angle and much better background. What were you thinking ?

    I have not seen all images from set of around 8 images , Need to be careful about choosing best of lot
