I've missed participating in this fun forum.

This is one of the natives I planted in my garden this year. The flowers and leaves were less than perfect, but I wanted a photo of them anyway. I took this picture indoors using my macro lens. In PP, I did the normal adjustment layers, including blue and green color fills to deal with imperfections, high pass, applied two textures (one of mine and one by pareeerica), made adjustments in Viveza.

Anita, I don't think your color palette could be any more pleasing. The blues/greens work so well together and the hint of texture really sets this apart. I especially like the gentle vignette as it really helps to draw the viewer's gaze to the intense blues in the center.

Anita, As Jules said the color palette is lovely. Nice work with the background texture and slight border. We have missed you on the forum. Glad you are back!

One of my favorite fall flowers, Anita. Fun to see the bees try and fight their way in. Wonderful flower detail. Beautifully done!

Very nice image and application, Anita.

Your signature style comes through nicely on this. Very nice softness and colors.

Anita, I'm late to the party in commenting, but let me applaud this image as well. I love the texture(s) you applied..as mentioned by others, the color palette selected is spot-on...my only suggestion...post more often! I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Anita, this is very beautifully, both the composition and the way you've presented it. I look forward to more.
