    Went to Amherst Island near Kingston on Sunday, walked in to Owl Woods...no SawWhets, but his beauty was sitting in a tree at 8:30am, just as I walked in on path, had enough time for 2 frames then he took off...don't see these guys linger for long...no time to even bring lens to full 540mm.

    Difficult light conditions, wish the background was less crowded. Great head angle.

    wow, i liked the side lighting here. wish there was little room on top...
