    Default Osprey Nails the Landing

    I took this photo on Lake Blue Cypress with Jim Neiger and Arash. Never got around to posting it until today, but I like the extended wings and the head angle.

    Doug:

    Great display of full back wing position, nice under wing detail, like the exact moment of contact with talons still not completely closed on perch.

    Crop a bit tight for me, but certainly gives him a lot of impact.

    Excellent capture in the right millisecond. Randy says it all, except for the crop. I like the impact the bird gives. The wings, legs and the perch makes a strong diagonal. This is eye candy!

    Thetight diagonal compo works amazingly well here . The warm light immensely adds to this one !!

    The golden light is truly amazing. Another striking feature is the diagonal line the outstretched wing and the perch create.
    The HA adds a lot more to the image....
