    Perhaps not as "sexy" as raptors, or as impressive as large flying waders, but gulls always remain very high on my favorites to photograph. Here's a young one on its' final approach as it glides in for a landing.

    Canon 7D + 100-400L @320mm, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/2000s., f/7.1, ISO 400, natural light, handheld, small crop for comp, gave the blue water a nicer hue via "selective color", and eliminated a few minor spots in the BG.

    I like gulls a lot also, underrated because they are numerous.
    Yours looks great, really sharp and the usual nice processing.

    Nice and sharp with good eye contact. I like the translucent wings and the dangling feet.

    Excellent comp and IQ. Nice bird angle, love the dangling feet. Not my favorite wing position, but love the translucence and the reflection from the water on it.
    Good looking juvie well captured!
