Spectacular BG, Arash, where was it?
The water drops are also really a nice touch.

Where and how do you get light like that?

Beautiful image, Arash. The wing position and approaching angle are superb.
The fish is also a big bonus.
On my screen it seems a bit dark though since the whites look grey.
On my computer I added 0.5 EV and it looks great!

The first thing that hits you is the beautiful BG... that doesn't mean the rest is not a beauty.
The fish, the droplets of water and the wing position are super..... very well taken.

The bg is out right stunning, Arash.
The bird just jumps out of the frame.
Great exposure, sharpness and pose. The snack and the droplets add another whole lot.
    Just superb.

To me the repost looks much better.
When did you shoot this? I assume it was at the Palo Alto Baylands, right?

Hey Luis, I got this at the Byxbee park two weeks ago, by the dam.

Great shot with a background to kill for. The fish and droplets make the image stand out. The first version seems fine to me. I guess it's a matter of taste. Well done!

Repost does it for me! I'd be trempted to blend in the faint pale streak in front of the far wing, but all else looks spot-on.

The repost is excellent. Perfect pose with great eye contact. Water droplets and fish are a nice bonus, as is the beautiful BG.
