    Default Lotus Blossom Diffused Glow

I used Photo Looks green pearl "look" on the edited blossom which I probably used Topaz Clean on. I did this one over a week ago. I like the diffuse glow look.

Real nice one, Judy! Very elegant and wonderful soft light and nice soft touch with the processing. Very minor, but maybe darken the lighter spots on upper and lower right a bit. Great IQ with your new 7D!

Hi Judy, really nice colors and glowing effect on this one. This may sound strange (maybe not coming from me...) but I find this flower to be "exuberant". It is bursting with light and reaching out in all directions. My eye keeps drifting over to that bit of green pad in the lower left corner, and I might evict that as well as the little bright spot in the upper left corner. This would give you dark corners all the way around and might enhance the overall look.

Judy, this is really nice..it almost has a cross-processed look to it. I echo Kerry's comments on toning down a few of the leaves in the background...but I think this is one of my favorite images of yours to date. Well done!

Thanks everyone! I actually airbrushed over all the light spots but I'll do it with a heavy hand and repost

Judy, great job on the repost...it really helps isolate your subject and gives additional strength to the surrealist atmosphere you've created with your processing. You could possible crop a bit from the bottom to tighten the composition some..but that is a matter of personal taste...I tend toward very tight compositions (too tight at times!) and it's your vision..and a lovely one at that!
