Sorry for my absence and lack of participation on BPN of late. I started a new job so I have been very busy. Also the internet I get out here is very slow. Loving my new place, we see Cheetah almost everyday.....Crits appreciated

Dumay - Congrats on the new position. I hear only good things about Thornybush. I like the look back pose, soft colors and good light on this. My two nits (and they're insignificant ones) - I think I would prefer to see the complete shadow and there's a dust spot just to the right of and above the cheetah.

Congrats again and looking forward to more posts from Thornybush!

    TFS,
    Rachel

Beautiful eyes show up really well. Love the tonal range through the image, really captured the light. Rachel's mentioned the dust spot, I'm not fussed about the shadow personally. Very fine portrait.

Hi Dumay, nice looking animal, in prime condition, shot in good light. I like the way the light brings out that amber eye colour and the slight bend of the tail and stance of the body. My only thought would be for a tighter crop as I do find there is a lot of space, but again it's all subjective.

Hope you settle in quickly, looks like they could do with some decent images on their website.

great image, lovely light, nice to get light into the eyes which is not so easy, like the space infront of her to the right but maybe a little too much on top

Thanks for the comments and well wishes Brendon I cropped as you suggested and removed the light spot (which I think Hilary and Rachel were talking about)

Nice capture with great light. She is a prime example of nature's beauty, and you have displayed her to the fullest. Either crop works for me, and I am ambivalent about the shadow. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice shot Dumay. Color, detail, and contrast all look great and add up to some nice IQ. Pose, light, and good looking subject top it off.

Good to know you are settling in and these fellows are giving you good opportunities bud! (I might have to pop in for a visit to see them ).
Love the light and don't mind the space in the OP. Great look-back pose too. IQ is some of the best I've seen you post in this forum...
