    Default Inner Glow

Another one from last weekend...taken with the 100-400 @ 190mm, f/22@1/15. Processed the RAW image in LR...cropped it slightly to tighten the composition...then took it into PS and touched up some burn spots on the petals...evicted a few ill-placed insects......and then started filtering. Applied Topaz Clean first...then NIK Color Efex Glow....followed by a layer of NIK Tonal contrast. Added a layer of Topaz Simplify...then tweaked the opacity on layers, used a mask to paint in some of the effects of the layers regionally...and ended up with the kind of inner glow I was hoping for.

John, you flower images are gorgeous and you know I love the "inner glow" look. The complimentary colors, depth, and dark background really make this one stand out. Super!

I've been enjoying the series, but this one is my favorite so far. I do like the tight composition , and you have definately achieved that glow. Good balance of colors as well.

John, This is my favorite in the series! Outstanding! I love the filtering and the comp. On my laptop I see some artifacts in the background left? Again on my laptop so I'm seeing every little thing and some may not be visible w/ a desktop.
