A recent lotus pad photo made at sunset riding some large waves. It was dark and dreary but had several colors in it. I first used Topaz Adjust, then duped the layer and used Adjust again and a levels adjustment layer to darken it but I masked the pad so it wouldn't be darker. I think I changed the blend mode to overlay and combined the layers other than Levels. I used Magic Bullet Photo Looks on that layer and liked the results. It got rid of "stuff" in the water as it darkened it but the color remained bright. The bottom mainly on the right side was underwater which is why it looks blurry.

Hi Judy, lots of interesting colors and textures in this one. I feel that the lower right corner is a bit problematic with the lily pad going out of focus. I think this one would be better a little smaller in the frame, to give some reference to the size, or go the other way and crop close like you did in a previous image. It is an interesting image though as presented!

Thanks Kerry. I reworked it. I saved the layered file but it was cropped so I had to go with a closer and slightly rotated crop and I made some changes to the image layers i.e. opacity and blend modes. I think the edge has a little more definition and it is lighter.

Judy, I am loving this! The colors and textures are beautiful.... shades of oriental painting. I do like the tighter crop of the repost. Excellent processing.

Pretty colors, Judy. Really like the floating action in the water. I like the RP better. Nice...........
