    Took this over the weekend. Continuing to wallow in the mudflats. While laying in the flats someone called over to me to see if I died. LOL Went for the background and waited the birds out.

    Michael,

    Beautiful warm light and reflection in the water. Nice washing pose and love the flying droplet. The white spot above the eye seems a bit hot, and it could use a tiny bit of CCW rotation.

    I agree, beautiful light on this, Michael. Like the pose, nicely composed, like how the water melts into BG. Ripple and drops nice touch. Very funny about someone asking if you had died I've had some strange looks when lying in the mud or sand!

    Great light and low angle. LIke the little bit of water coming off the wing.

    I love the great light on the bird and behavior capture. Even better, the way the water and background melt together into such a soft backdrop. Really nice! Agree on the hot eyebrow, not so sure about rotation. It LOOKS uphill to the left, but might be an optical illusion caused by the raised ripple with a sharper fall-off to the right.
