    Default Lotus Leaf

This was a very colorful leaf growing on land so there was grass all around it and a green leaf close to the top so I cropped the center. I used Topaz Adjust, Detail and Magic Bullet Photo Looks on it in layers at different opacities and blend modes.

I like the brilliant colors... and the one water drop.

Me too. I like your choice of focusing on the water drop. Wish only that the blossom were in a bit better condition. Like the crop and COMP too.

Hi Judy, I really like this one. Love the veins in the leaf and the water drop too.

Judy, there are some really strong compositional lines here...and the water drop as a focal point of the image makes it even stronger. Nicely done!

Thanks Mitch, Artie and Andrew! I don't often see leaves in that stage of decay that produces all the neat colors so it was a treat to find this one. It was shot at sunset which accented the warm colors.

That makes sense. Thanks for the edification; I do not know flowers well at all :)

Judy, I like this a lot. The composition is super and the colors are reminiscent of early autumn. I might only suggest adding a bit of black to the image.

Judy, A terrific look to this one. I love how the leaf curves under. Nice processing too!

    Hi Judy,

Love the radiating pattern. The center of the pad is well place in the frame. Gorgeous colors. Magic Bullet Photo.....have to look into that!
