    40D, Canon 100-400@350mm, 1/640 f 7.1, ISO 400. This juvy was just learning to fly. It left the nest one day before.

    Lots of problems here. It looks as if you shot through waxed paper or with a fog filter..... Bird's head is turned totally away from the viewer. The branches are distracting especially those protruding towards the viewer on this side of the subject.... A simple Level adjustment would address the first problem.
