    Default Common Yellowthoat

This was shot at a local park back in May. To attract the bird I used a bit of audio.
This is a 70% crop of the original frame. The original file was underexposed by 1 stop
so I had to pull it in LR.

    Comments and critique are welcome.

    Hello Luis

This is gorgeous... beautiful background and lots of detail on the bird.

Luis, these leaning poses always work well, and I like the different colours and sharpness on the little guy. I dont mind the OOF lines in the BG, but would maybe blend in the darker one in the LRC.

Good sharpness, pose and BG, Luis. I see you used manual exposure - was there a reason it was 1 stop under-exposed? What had you metered from to set your exposure?

I like it , the color are great, like the BG and the composition. Just might consider a little small soft round of sharpen in the bird.

Classic Yellowthroat pose, nicely captured. Love the BG. Well recovered, with no noise that I can see.

Good job on the exposure recovery, nice comp and colours. I agree with Stuart re: LLC, but all else looks great. Thanks for disclosing the use of audio...

Thanks for the comments everyone! I hadn't noticed that branch in the LRC.
I am actually surprised that there weren't more of those branches in the frame.
The place was a maze of tules and I was lucky that the bird landed on this clear one
    for a couple of secs.

Tony, I regularly use manual exposure to account for changes in the background but this time I messed up the shutter speed.
