    Default Ibis A la Poe

    I got off on a tangent today and was fooling around with an older image of an ibis that was slightly underexposed to begin with. I started off with Topaz Adjust Ghostly which made it really dark, then into Nik Silver Efex Pro High Key to change it up and toned it a bit. Then back to Topaz Clean with a slight Stylize Details look. I know it won't be everyone's cup of tea (I'm not sure how I feel about it) but I thought the background was interesting to start with and I liked the way it came out.
    Comments and suggestions appreciated. Thanks for looking

    Cheryl, I like it! I might take a slice off the top if it were mine. I might try for a hint more light on the bill and face. Nice work and the effect is unique!

    Hi Cheryl, very nice work. Agree with a bit of the top. I love the ripples around the bill.

    Hi Cheryl;

    This has an old-school feel to it...very contemplative....like Andrew, I love the ripples around the bill...and I agree with Denise's comment about taking a bit off the top and a bit more light on the face and bill, just enough to bring out some shadow detail. I really like the overall effect!
