    Hi Richard

Love the colours and a sweet looking bird but this image is full of artifacts from the masking you did during processing, especially the head, perch and tail! The perch also has some discontinuties in blur or apparent focus.

repost quick before anyone else notices...!

Richard, that is a little beauty!! I closed my eyes for the first image and went straight to the correct jpg.

The BG does not bother me because I think he stands out nicely with his gorgeous colors.

I really like how is little wing hangs over the branch in front.

    Very cute!

    Hi Noelle

I am glad you like; just a pity I didnt pay attention to the first one; that should not have got through; I need to tidy up my folders.

The moral of the story is "always check what you have posted; I know my eyesight is not as good as it was but sheesh lol

That's a beautiful hummingbird. You got its colors very well.
I love the detail and pose. The composition and perch are very good too.
I like the crop on the repost much better that on the first picture.
Maybe a lower shooting angle would have helped with the BG, but it's not bad as it is.

Love the corrected one Richard, wow some great metallic colors... Very very sharp! and I like the slight head turn.
