Default Bird photo locations for US trip

    All,

Please help out Deepak with some help with where to go in the US (including Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, and New York) for birding photography in early October. See Deepak's request in the regional groups forum:

    Default Florida locations

I hear Ding Darling preserve in Florida is great for Skimmers and other shore birds. I also did some photography at Lake Hancock near Lakeland. There was a really nice path on the Northwest corner that I think was an alligator relocation spot. It was called the Circle Bar B Reserve. It is off of SR 540 (Winter Lake Road) between US 98 and Thornhill Road. Good for Limpkins, Anhinga, tricolor herons, some bald eagles and palm warblers amongst other things. IF you decide to come to Northern California, let me know.
