My Greenies know the right way to hang from the trees Another from the greenie Yak series, I was so lucky this day that I was able to image three greenie's sharing the same perch within a few feet of each other, a photographers dream to pick and choose which one was posing the best.

    HH from the YAK!

I shot him wide open in order to separate the bg more.

PS I think that I'm going to me know as the "small white feather guy" is that a good thing? LOL

Another lovely image! Light, habitat, pose and techs are all great! Not crazy about the squarish crop though.

Thanks for the kudos Ofer, I hear ya on the square crop, if I cropped any farther to the left the bush would start to intrude on the image. I may play with this crop some more, thank for pointing this out.

I like the habitat and pose. I second the crop comment, and might actually take a bit up from the bottom. This would remove your signature white feather from the image, but I afraid i am not crazy about it anyway.

Overall more good work from the kayak!

This is very sharp with great colors and behavior. Like the habitat a lot. Crop doesn't present this capture in the best possible way.

Hey Chad, good behavioural capture, and another great perspective from the yak. I actually like the saturated look to this, and a vertical could work here with more added space at the bottom ( if you have, as he is looking down that way )

Another keeper! You and Noelle will soon be called the "greenie whisperers". Love the light and agree re: cropping from bottom even if it means losing the feather.

Sharp with a nice raised crest and scratching pose. The three stubs on the perch are unfortunate. Lastly, the tip of the bill needed to be rotated about 1/4 to 1/2 inch toward you to get the bill perfectly parallel to the imaging sensor.
