    One I shot at Longwood Gardens. Changed the flower's head only as opposed to the whole comp. Had fun with the colors...

    Dave, this is very nice...and very creative. Striking colors, nice lines drawing your eye through the frame, excellent retention of detail, and it jumps out at you from the black background. You've outdone yourself on this one!

    Maureen described your image as striking, and I agree with that description. Really like the "bud" on the left. It sets off the bright flower. I think this image is excellent!

    Quite dramatic will loverly colors. My only wish is that the bud were not so close to the blossom.
