This limb was almost going straight up and down, amazing how they grasp onto these with no effort. I just love these guys! Taken from my Kayak, It kinda looked like he was doing the chicken dance LOL

    Chad:

An excellent and unusual preening pose. Great lighting, with darker background and wing, lighter body/head. Position of head almost parallel to sensor is good for preening.

Grip on perch is neat too.

    Very well done.

    Cheers

Truly great capture with gorgeous light and love the preening pose. Everything is sharp and pops against that great clean BG. I would like to see the bird a little less centered. If you have the space, I would try placing him a bit to the right i nthe frame.

Hey Chad, the light cast on the head puts this over the top. Well timed to capture the 'umbrella' wing position, and overall nice and sharp. The darker BG works well here. I would love to experience a shoot from a kayak someday.

Chad this was one of my favorites that you showed me. You were so lucky that night to have a bunch of greenys all around you. I think they must have thought you are the captain of the greeny team...LOL

Great lighting on this Chad, and interesting pose. Nice clean comp and dark BG works great! I have a feeling you guys will be offering Kayak IPTs in the future!

With the wing pointing one way and the bill the other way I'm OK with the centered comp...I actually wish it was even MORE centered. Great pose, light, BG. Not crazy about the dangling feather from the bill.

I agree with you on the feather Daniel, but I kept having second thoughts about removing it because it seems to add to the preening of the image.

    Thanks again!
