    Default Theme: Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! Swinging Greeny

Just for fun with this one. It was amazing watching him swing down and stretch his neck to catch fish. This time he missed. I would have never been able to see this behavior if I was not in my kayak. He was nicely hidden in a shaded cove.

    Noelle:

Now that is a funny one, and really appropriate for this months' theme.

    Great shooting angle,drops, exposure, action..

Looks like a tiny bit of CCW rotation is needed.

    I like it a lot.

    Cheers

Wow! Fantastic pose Noelle. I love the way the environment is presented in the shot - the background texture works very well here. I initially thought the image needed some counter clockwise rotation, but looking closer, I think that it's just an illusion created by the edges of the lily pads (? - it looks like the edge lines up with the break between the water and the background foliage). I might consider a bit more selective warming on the bird itself.

Rotate it, then send it to contests. I've never seen anything like this and surely it would generate interest. Great work!

Man this is top class, love the IQ and the pose is priceless...Small CCW rotation, but that is a small nit on an amazing image!

Noelle, an opportunity well used here, and you nailed the timing to capture this very unusual pose. Nicely separated from the BG, and the droplets add so much more. Another vote for some CCW rotation. Well captured.

Thanks everyone! I will give a CCW rotation as suggested.

This is not the only image I took of this guy fishing. I spent about a half hour watching him do this over and over again until another greeny came in and they chased each other away. I will post another one soon :)

Chad and Noelle, I find that using velcro is better as you don't have to wait for anything to dry and is easier to dismantle the subject from the perch after a session

LOL.... I do have some very strong velcro

    Thanks Daniel!

Here is a re-pot everyone with a CCW rotation as suggested. I plan on warming up the next one I post.
